Over 3 GWh! CANE, WINCLE, and Cubenergy Accelerate Their Expansion in Europe
2025-12-05 14:27

In recent days, several Chinese energy storage companies have accelerated their expansion into the European market, achieving new breakthroughs in Belgium, Romania, and Norway. Among them, China Automotive New Energy (CANE) and Cubenergy have signed strategic energy storage cooperation agreements of 2 GWh and 1 GWh respectively, while WINCLE has successfully signed a commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage project in Norway.

CANE Signs 2 GWh Energy Storage Cooperation Agreement

Recently, CANE and Belgium’s AVESTA held a signing ceremony for energy storage system products at CANE’s headquarters in Tianjin, where the two parties officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement involving 2 GWh of energy storage capacity.

Leveraging its strong capabilities in energy storage system integration, core technology R&D, and intelligent manufacturing, CANE will work synergistically with AVESTA’s international distribution channels and brand influence to promote the large-scale deployment of green energy solutions and support the global transition toward cleaner energy structures.

WINCLE Signs C&I Energy Storage Project in Norway

WINCLE has recently secured a commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage project in Norway. This signing marks a key breakthrough for WINCLE in the Nordic energy storage market, a region known for its rigorous technical standards and high entry barriers.

According to the company, WINCLE will supply its Stars-series liquid-cooled C&I storage cabinets, which adopt highly efficient and stable integrated liquid-cooling thermal management technology and long-life battery cell solutions. Designed for high-frequency, high-power charging and discharging in frequency-regulation scenarios, the system offers strong thermal stability, high consistency, and precise control. It can maintain stable, long-term performance even under Norway’s complex mountainous and coastal climate conditions, fully meeting the local grid’s stringent fast-response requirements.

Cubenergy Establishes 1 GWh Strategic Partnership with Romanian Enterprise

Recently, Cubenergy and VoltLink Energy—an innovative Romanian energy company—jointly signed an agreement establishing a strategic cooperation framework totaling 1 GWh.

By combining Cubenergy’s strengths in product performance, operational efficiency, and service systems with VoltLink Energy’s international market channels and experience, the two companies aim to integrate their strengths to enhance overall project competitiveness and deliver higher-quality products and services to the global energy storage market.
