Recently,Tongwei Solar secured the first batch of module centralized procurement from Yunnan Green Energy,winning a 400MW order.Meanwhile,Talesun Solar reached a preliminary agreement with Uzbekistan’s AKFA Group to jointly develop a 500MW photovoltaic project.
Tongwei Secures 400MW Module Order
Yunnan Green Energy New Energy Development Co.,Ltd.recently announced that it had signed the first batch of a photovoltaic module centralized procurement framework agreement with Tongwei Solar(Hefei)Co.,Ltd.
The centralized procurement agreement is expected to cover a total installed capacity of 400MWp.The required module products are N-type bifacial double-glass modules with a capacity of 615Wp–625Wp.
Tongwei Solar(Hefei)Co.,Ltd.won the bid with a total bid price of RMB 293.16 million,corresponding to a unit price of RMB 0.733 per watt.
Talesun Solar Reaches 500MW Project Cooperation Intention
On November 27,Talesun Solar reached a preliminary agreement with Uzbekistan’s large industrial holding group AKFA Group to jointly develop a 500MW photovoltaic project.
The project will integrate Talesun’s module technology and energy storage solutions with AKFA’s local manufacturing capabilities and market channels.Talesun’s Belt and Road team will coordinate the project,implementing it in phases along key target markets.
Both parties agreed that,under the promotion of the“Belt and Road”initiative,AKFA’s industrial manufacturing foundation and Talesun’s photovoltaic technology advantages are highly complementary.On one hand,the solar module production capacity planned by AKFA can link with Talesun’s photovoltaic module supply chain,helping reduce costs and improve efficiency along the project routes.On the other hand,both parties can leverage their global bases(Talesun’s Asia-Pacific and U.S.production capacity,AKFA’s new North American factory)to explore a“regional manufacturing+local delivery”cooperation model,jointly expanding projects along the Belt and Road,as well as in Europe,the U.S.,and emerging markets.
