On November 6, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Phase II engineering of the Hithium Energy Storage Southwest Smart Manufacturing Center and R&D Center Project (Phase I) took place in the Tongliang High-tech Zone of Tongliang District, Chongqing.
The Phase II engineering of the Hithium Energy Storage Southwest Smart Manufacturing Center and R&D Center Project (Phase I) is located north of Industrial Avenue and east of the Power Corridor in the Tongliang High-tech Zone. The development is classified as an industrial plant, including Cell Factory II, with a total construction area of 101,546.18 square meters.
As a crucial platform for Hithium Energy Storage's expansion in the Southwest region, this project will focus on the smart manufacturing of energy storage cells. Utilizing its large-scale and intelligent production capabilities, it is set to contribute to the upgrade of the new energy industry chain in the Southwest.
EVE Energy Research Institute Project Slated for Operation in Early 2026
The construction site of the Hubei EVE Energy Research Institute Project was a hive of activity on November 5.
According to public information, the project has a planned total investment of 480 million RMB. It mainly comprises three core functional areas: the EVE Energy Global Headquarters, a trial sample production line, and a customer reception center. Its key functions include carrying out cutting-edge lithium battery technology R&D, new product trial verification, and rapid response to customer needs.
Currently, 80% of the project's civil engineering has been completed, and it is expected to be officially operational in the first quarter of 2026. Once completed, the project will attract top global lithium battery R&D talent, be equipped with world-class testing equipment, and form a full-chain innovation system from technology research to sample preparation.
Pylon Technologies Signs Agreement for 2GWh Energy Storage Battery and Integration Project
On November 7, Pylon Technologies signed an agreement with the Feixi County People's Government for its 2GWh Energy Storage Battery and Integration Project.
Both parties agreed to further tap into collaborative potential, strengthen resource allocation synergy, and fully push for the project to commence construction, start production, and generate results swiftly.
The project is located in the Feixi Economic Development Zone, with a planned land area of approximately 93 mu (about 6.2 hectares) and a total investment of 1 billion RMB. It mainly involves the construction of a 2GWh energy storage cell and system assembly production line, along with related supporting facilities.
SCUD Energy Technology Launches New Base in Quanzhou, Fujian
SCUD Energy Technology recently launched its new SCUD Energy Technology Expansion and Integration Base in Quanzhou, Fujian Province.
Combined with the previously activated battery pack base, SCUD Energy Technology's two major bases cover a total area of approximately 80 mu (about 5.3 hectares). They currently house 10 fully automated packaging lines and 1 integration line. The combined operation of the two bases will boost the annual production capacity to 35GWh.
Specifically, the battery pack base focuses on the encapsulation of energy storage batteries, while the new base is dedicated to the integrated R&D and smart manufacturing of containerized large-scale energy storage systems.
Zhaoke Energy's Lithium Battery Production Project Completed in Qiandongnan High-tech Zone
Recently, the construction of the Guizhou Zhaoke Energy Co., Ltd. Lithium Battery Production Project in the Qiandongnan High-tech Zone was completed.
The project has a total investment of 250 million RMB and covers an area of approximately 30,000 square meters. It specializes in the R&D and production of large cylindrical lithium batteries, with product applications covering fields such as two-wheeled electric vehicles, energy storage systems, power tools, and the military. Upon completion and commissioning, the project is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 2GWh of lithium batteries.
The project has now fully entered the critical sprint stage of construction, with the installation and debugging of equipment progressing smoothly. Concurrently, supporting facilities for the R&D center have been completed, production materials are being actively stocked, and personnel recruitment is advancing in an orderly manner, laying a solid foundation of production factors for rapid mass production.
Yingnengjikeji Sodium-Ion Battery Production Base Project Signed
On November 9, Sichuan Yingnengjikeji Technology Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement with the Erqi District Government of Zhengzhou, Henan Province, for a Sodium-Ion Battery Production Base Project.
The project plans for a total investment of approximately 4.8 billion RMB and will be constructed in two phases in the Erqi District. It will encompass a sodium-ion battery production base, an R&D center, and an energy storage system integration base. The focus will be on the R&D and large-scale production of core products, including sodium-ion battery materials and energy storage devices.
Shaanxi Inovance Energy Storage and Power System Manufacturing Base Scheduled for November Production
Recently, the Inovance Energy Storage and Power System Manufacturing Base construction project, located in the Xixian New Area of Shaanxi Province, has entered its final stages, with plans to achieve full production by mid-November 2025.
The project has a total investment of 1 billion RMB and is intended to be a specialized manufacturing base integrating the production of new energy storage equipment and power supply equipment.
Its core business focuses on the production of new energy storage and power supply equipment, specifically including energy storage converters, photovoltaic-storage converters, step-up integrated machines, all-in-one energy storage systems, servo power supplies, plasma power supplies, hydrogen production power supplies, and other complete sets of equipment.
