Recently, Antaisolar (CITIC Bo) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the completion of Phase II of its Jeddah factory in Saudi Arabia. The event was attended by Mr. Wang Qimin, Consul General of China in Jeddah, Mr. Cai Hao, Chairman of CITIC Bo, as well as representatives from ACWA Power, local and Chinese clients, partners, and Chinese community organizations.
The factory occupies a total area of about 100,000 square meters. Once fully operational, and in coordination with the local supply chain, it will achieve an annual delivery capacity of 15 GW, further strengthening CITIC Bo’s global supply chain resilience.
As a global leader in photovoltaic (PV) tracker systems, CITIC Bo adheres to a development strategy centered on globalization, differentiation, digital intelligence, and sustainability, with a focus on “Tracking+” and “Green Power+” integrated solutions. In 2024, the company ranked second globally in market share for PV trackers.
In the Middle East, CITIC Bo has so far secured over 15 GW of PV project orders, ranking first in market share in 2024. Since 2025, the company has successively won major projects such as Saudi Arabia’s Sadawi 2.3 GW and SPPC Round 5 (1.75 GW). With a strategic presence in Saudi Arabia, service coverage across the Middle East, and a global operational vision, the completion of the Jeddah Phase II factory marks an important milestone in the company’s global capacity expansion, significantly enhancing its delivery and service capabilities for both regional and international markets.
“The completion of our Jeddah Phase II factory represents not only a major milestone in CITIC Bo’s globalization strategy but also a strong response and active contribution to China’s Belt and Road Initiative and Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030,” said Chairman Cai Hao at the ceremony. He added that CITIC Bo will continue to advance its globalization and localization strategy, integrating deeply with local culture, fulfilling ESG responsibilities, and fostering synergy with the local industrial ecosystem to support Saudi Arabia’s green and sustainable development.
Looking ahead, CITIC Bo will remain customer-centered, innovation-driven, and locally anchored, continuing to deepen its global PV market presence. Through high-quality product solutions and full lifecycle services, the company aims to contribute lasting momentum to the global energy transition.
