Antaisolar Signs 21MW Ground-Mounted Project in South Korea
2025-10-24 13:40

Recently, Antaisolar formally signed a cooperation agreement with South Korea's Daebo Energy Solution (DES) to develop its 21MW Gaesuri ground-mounted photovoltaic project. This marks Antaisolar's first large-scale ground-mounted PV project in South Korea, signifying a key breakthrough in its global expansion strategy within the East Asian market.

DES is a subsidiary of South Korea's renowned conglomerate Daebo Group. Its parent company, Daebo Construction, possesses extensive expertise in new energy infrastructure and industrial engineering. The 21MW project under this collaboration is located in the Pyeongchang region, host of the Winter Olympics—an area renowned for its high snow load climate, posing stringent challenges to the structural stability and cold resistance of photovoltaic systems.

To adapt to Pyeongchang's complex topography and high snow load conditions, Antaisolar employed steel with high yield strength and tensile properties, passing local third-party testing. The design was modified to meet the client's requirements, innovatively adopting a “missing panel layout” technique. This approach precisely conforms to the site's undulating terrain, avoiding the increased costs and ecological impacts associated with terrain modification.

This signing marks only the beginning of our collaboration. Both parties are advancing discussions on rooftop solar projects and will expand into more new energy application scenarios in the future.
