LONGi Partners with Israel to Develop PV Project, to Start Production Next Year!
2025-09-12 18:01

LONGi Enters Historic Cooperation with Israel's Nofar Energy to Jointly Develop Corbii Mari Solar Project in Romania. With an installed capacity of 282 MW, the project is scheduled to officially start production in 2026.

It is understood that the project will deploy over 430,000 LONGi Hi-MO 9 BC modules. Boasting a conversion efficiency of 24.8%, the BC-structured modules not only feature excellent temperature resistance but also come with a 30-year power degradation guarantee—ensuring stable electricity output of the project amid Romania's variable climatic conditions. Meanwhile, their ultra-high power characteristics can minimize land occupation to the greatest extent, effectively protecting the agricultural ecosystem and achieving a balance between energy development and ecological conservation.

The collaboration between LONGi and Nofar Energy is not the first of its kind. Since 2023, the two parties have been cooperating on utility-scale solar projects across multiple locations in Europe. Last year, LONGi Solar further deepened this cooperative relationship by supplying modules for a series of Nofar Energy's solar projects in Europe. The Corbii Mari project marks another significant upgrade in their cooperation.

Data indicates that the Corbii Mari project is expected to generate an annual electricity output of 3.8 GWh, providing stable power to more than 50,000 households in Romania. Meanwhile, the project will reduce carbon emissions by 220,000 metric tons per year—equivalent to taking 48,000 fuel-powered vehicles off the road. This holds great significance for advancing the achievement of regional "dual carbon" goals.
