On September 10, Trina Solar (688599) announced that it had received notification from its controlling subsidiary, Jiangsu Trina Energy Storage Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Trina Energy Storage”), that Trina Energy Storage had recently signed energy storage product sales contracts totaling 2.48 GWh with three customers across three major regions: China, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific.

Among these, the proposed 1GWh overseas order will utilize grid-forming systems. This marks Trina Energy Storage's first gigawatt-scale grid-forming project secured in overseas markets, representing a significant milestone.
