On July 18th, Desay Smart Energy Storage Technology (hereinafter referred to as "Desay Smart Energy Storage"), a subsidiary of Huizhou-based Desay Battery, formally signed a cooperation agreement with the Subdistrict Office of Suicheng Street, Suining County, Jiangsu Province, to carry out in-depth cooperation in the field of grid-side energy storage.
According to the agreement, Desay Smart Energy Storage will invest in and build an independent energy storage power station with a capacity of 300MW/600MWh within the jurisdiction of Suicheng Street.

The 300MW/600MWh independent energy storage power station planned and constructed this time will adopt the high-efficiency energy storage systems and advanced intelligent management platform independently developed by Desay Smart Energy Storage, boasting advantages such as rapid response, high reliability, and long service life. Upon completion, the project will mainly serve ancillary services such as power grid peak shaving, frequency modulation, and reserve capacity. It will effectively alleviate the pressure from peak-valley differences in the regional power grid, enhance the absorption capacity of renewable energy, and provide strong support for the safe and stable operation of the power grid.
Meanwhile, the project will also form a synergistic effect with local new energy power generation projects, promoting the efficient utilization of clean energy such as wind power and photovoltaic power, reducing fossil energy consumption, and lowering carbon emissions. It is estimated that after the project is put into operation, it can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by hundreds of thousands of tons annually (equivalent to planting millions of trees), which is of great significance for improving the regional ecological environment and promoting green development.
