TNC 2.0: Tailored for Performance, Powered by Innovation
The newly launched TNC 2.0 modules integrate four core technologies—including 908 Technology (Tongwei’s 0BB technology), TPE, Poly Tech, and Stencil Printing—resulting in significantly enhanced module efficiency, reliability, and system adaptability.
With a bifaciality rate exceeding 88% (in R&D certified by TÜV Rheinland and CGC), the TNC 2.0 series is engineered to optimize power generation across diverse environments and installation scenarios. It delivers high energy yield, particularly in conditions where rear-side irradiance can be leveraged, and meets the increasing global demand for smart, sustainable, and cost-effective PV solutions.
Industry-Recognized Certifications Highlight Product Reliability
Tongwei’s commitment to quality and product excellence was further underscored by an extensive series of international certifications and accolades received during SNEC 2025:
- TÜV Rheinland's worldwide-first Triple PID Resistance Certificate (IEC TS 62804-1 Ed2) awarded by TÜV Rheinland
- UK MCS New Standard Certification, confirming compliance with the latest UK safety and performance standards
- VKF Hail Resistance Certificate, validating durability under severe hail conditions
- TÜV Rheinland's worldwide-first Tornado Resistance Certification issued by TÜV NORD, confirming structural reliability under simulated high-wind impact
- SO₂ Corrosion Resistance Certification from TÜV SÜD, based on ISO 6988, IEC 61215, and IEC 61730 standards

In addition, Photovoltaic Testing Center of Tongwei Global Innovation R&D Center was certified as a CTF2 witness laboratory by TÜV Rheinland, TÜV SÜD, and TÜV NORD, affirming its world-class testing capabilities and laboratory management. Its Yancheng Terrestrial Module Test Site also received official validation from TÜV Rheinland, confirming long-term field performance and durability of Tongwei modules.
Furthermore, Tongwei was awarded the TaiyangNews Top Solar Modules 2024 Badge of Excellence, with both its TNC and THC product lines ranked among the top ten most efficient mass-produced modules globally—making Tongwei the only company with two series on the list.
