Recently, Hoymiles signed an exclusive strategic cooperation agreement with Hungarian new energy company GNX Engineering Kft ("GNX") at its headquarters in Hangzhou. The signing ceremony was attended by Daniel Racsek, CEO of GNX; Roland Horvath, Technical Director of GNX; Yang Bo, President of Hoymiles; and Liu Jian, Director of Energy Storage for Europe. According to the agreement, GNX will become Hoymiles’ exclusive strategic partner in the Hungarian market. The two parties will focus on the commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage sector, jointly developing Hungary's solar-plus-storage market and expanding their cooperation footprint across Europe.
GNX is a subsidiary of KESZ GROUP, the largest local EPC company in Hungary, and a leading energy solutions provider specializing in end-to-end services in the renewable energy sector. Known for its rigorous technology selection standards, GNX only works with high-quality manufacturers. The company has built a strong reputation and broad recognition in Hungary, especially in the C&I and utility-scale energy storage segments, where it has accumulated extensive project experience.
As a BNEF Tier 1 global energy storage manufacturer, Hoymiles has launched several products that have attracted attention in the Hungarian market, including the HoyPrime all-in-one containerized storage system, the HoyCore outdoor liquid-cooled storage system, and the HoyUltra integrated energy storage solution, with shipments already underway. Leveraging its industry-leading technological capabilities and system integration strengths, Hoymiles’ products are highly aligned with GNX’s stringent standards for high performance and reliability—laying a solid foundation for their collaboration in Hungary.
Hungary, one of the most promising emerging markets in Central and Eastern Europe, has in recent years significantly increased its policy support for new energy, especially in accelerating the deployment of energy storage. To drive energy transition and achieve carbon neutrality, the Hungarian government has launched the H-RES energy storage program, offering up to 20% investment subsidies for C&I storage projects. These incentives, combined with strong market demand, have unlocked considerable potential in the local market. Through this strategic alliance, Hoymiles and GNX will jointly deliver efficient, reliable, and intelligent smart energy storage solutions for Hungary, while also providing a replicable and scalable model for other European countries.
Looking ahead, the two companies will leverage their respective strengths to collaborate in technology innovation, market expansion, and local services—jointly driving the energy transition in Hungary and across Europe. From small beginnings to broader impact, Hoymiles will continue pushing the boundaries of solar-plus-storage applications, building a more efficient and intelligent energy ecosystem, and injecting new momentum into global energy structure optimization and sustainable development.
