On August 8th, the Baodi Canadian Solar factory project officially broke ground in Datangzhuang Town, Baodi District, Tianjin.
This project is part of Artes' Baodi 2GW high-efficiency module production base. The office area infrastructure has already been renovated, and production is expected to start in November, with a daily output of 273 kilowatts of modules, generating an annual output value of 2 billion yuan and contributing 20 million yuan in taxes. The project will revitalize 17,000 square meters of idle factory and office buildings in the industrial park, creating over 200 jobs.
Wang Meng, General Manager of Artes Group's North China region, stated, "The company's projects in Baodi District include photovoltaic power generation and supporting energy storage station construction. There are many local new energy projects in Baodi District, and the demand for electricity is strong, which can directly absorb the photovoltaic capacity of the Datang project. Additionally, the Group's domestic headquarters is located in Suzhou, where upstream and downstream supporting enterprises in the industrial chain are also willing to settle in Baodi District, which will bring significant benefits in terms of logistics convenience and production efficiency. This will help to complete the new energy-related industrial chain in Baodi District."
