2024-05-09 17:22

"On May 7th, Junda Shares stated that in the first quarter of 2024, the company achieved a shipment of 10.08GW of cell products (1.52GW of P-type and 8.56GW of N-type), a year-on-year increase of 109.56%. It realized a revenue of 3.714 billion yuan, with a net profit attributable to the parent company nearing 20 million yuan, and it achieved overseas sales of 431 million yuan, with overseas sales accounting for 11.62%.

In the first quarter, the proportion of Junda Shares' overseas sales continued to increase, rising rapidly from 4.69% in 2023 to 11.62% in the first quarter of 2024. Currently, Junda Shares' overseas customers mainly cover various regions including Asia, Europe, North America, and South America.

For the year 2024, Junda Shares plans to focus on the construction of overseas production capacity, considering the establishment of overseas high-efficiency cell production capacity in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and the United States, with subsequent steps to be determined and implemented based on a comprehensive consideration of international trade policies, local photovoltaic market demand, and industrial chain support.

Junda Shares believes that as the cost of photovoltaic power generation continues to decline, the demand for photovoltaic products in overseas markets is growing rapidly. Against this backdrop, overseas countries are gradually building their own photovoltaic industry chains. Among them, the component segment is emerging due to its lower investment and relatively stable technology, with local component production capacity and component brands on the rise. The cell segment, due to its high technical barriers, has a relative shortage of overseas cell production capacity and still relies on the supply of photovoltaic batteries from China. With the rapid growth of overseas photovoltaic component production capacity, it will help Chinese cell companies to explore international markets and serve global customers."
