Taiwan’s Sinopac recently unveiled its Green Energy Power Plant Information Management System, which was patented and certified by TIPO. The System features four major functionalities such as power plant assessment, among others, capable of analyzing power plants’ key data. The System is able to simulate the sunlight volume for potential sites and analyze historical data of nearby power plants. These data are helpful for strategic decision regarding plant construction and financing, in addition to raising the management efficiency prior to and after loans, thereby accelerating the effort towards a sustainable homeland.
Sinopac indicates that its proprietary Green Energy Power Plant Information Management System is developed and implemented via a hybrid cloud architecture and possesses four major functions, including power plant assessment, asset evaluation, revenue forecast, and risk assessment. The System is able to, in other words, evaluate the cost-effectiveness of power generation for strategic purposes in accordance with the plant’s lifecycle.
With regards to the Green Energy Power Plant Information Management System’s integration of AI, Sinopac indicates that AI achieves several functions: simulating sunlight volume, calculating optimal revenue using neighboring PV projects’ historical electricity output, predicting the cost effectiveness of power generation in the future and tracking ROI, assisting clients choosing power plant sites. After the location is chosen, the System is able to leverage a model index for the plant’s health and construct a real-time information monitoring and warning system, in turn realizing sufficient operational risk management.
Sinopac indicates that its System facilitates assessments done during the pre-loan and operational stages of either the bank itself or green energy companies, in additional to risk management during the post-loan and operational stages. On the other hand, as companies are now following the global trend of adopting an RE 100 (100% renewable electricity) supply chain, the System helps generate resumes documenting power station’s operational statuses, thereby becoming an important point of reference for enterprises wishing to purchase a stable source of green energy.
As a comprehensive, cradle-to-grave system, Sinopac’s Green Energy Power Plant Information Management System leverages big data, AI, and cloud services. The Sinopac partnered with various ecommerce companies in 2021 to integrate a two-pronged cash flow system that drives the green energy industry towards the ecommerce era. By complementing core finances with technology and networking applications, Sinopac aims to continue being a key partner to companies seeking growth in the green energy industry.
