TOPCO commented that the company had achieved a new high in revenue during December and the fourth quarter of 2021 thanks to booming semiconductor orders. The company generated NT$11.77 billion of revenue in the fourth quarter under a YoY increase of 31.6%, which marked its fourth consecutive quarter of hitting the top. TOPCO surpassed the NT$40 billion threshold and accumulated NT$42.67 billion of revenue in 2021 that is an annual growth of nearly 20%.
TOPCO emphasized that order visibility has been exceedingly high thanks to the ascending cycle of the semiconductor industry, which is followed by a short supply of capacity. With the thriving sales in materials such as wafers, photoresists, cassettes, and quartz furnace tubes, as well as the continuous nourishment to the revenue of eco-friendly engineering, TOPCON is optimistic towards the growth in sales and profitability for this year.
Aside from being a sales agent for semiconductor, LCD and photoelectric industries in precise materials, components, and equipment, TOPCO also provides planning services in eco-friendly green energy systems, where the sales of semiconductor and electrical materials occupy roughly 80% of the company’s sales, and eco-friendly engineering accounts for more than 10%, with the rest being engineering for solar energy and factory systems. TOPCO has branched out to industries such as food and LOHAS in recent years, hoping to expand its scale through comprehensive linkages and integration of strengths.
