After successively signing MOU with United Renewable Energy (URE) and Chung-Hsin Electric & Machinery (CHEM) over the past month, Yeheng Energy is once again signing another MOU with Hung Hua Construction on April 27th, which states that the latter will be responsible for the overall turnkey in civil and maritime engineering, and complete the final preparation for the implementation team of the Changbin 200MW Offshore Solar Photovoltaic Project. This meticulously built “National Team” will commence construction in May 2020, and expects to complete this large indicative solar photovoltaic project during the second half of 2021, which is equivalent to the completion in a portion of preparation for the largest offshore solar photovoltaic project in the world.

As a leading manufacturer in Taiwan, Hung Hua Construction’s distinctive advantages in civil and maritime engineering, as well as the services provided by the company, occupies the biggest and most essential part of this project”, commented Hsu Wei-chiang, Chairman of Yeheng Energy, who then also expressed, “this is an important milestone for both Yeheng Energy and Hung Hua Construction; as a long-term investor in Taiwan, we look forward to establishing more large-scale projects like this one in the country, as well as adhering to the Taiwanese government’s renewable energy policy and its determination in energy transformation”.
As a project company established by the globally renowned Swiss-based private equity firm Partners Group, Yeheng Energy will be establishing the biggest 180MW offshore solar photovoltaic plant in Taiwan at the Changbin Lunwei East Green Energy Zone. The solar photovoltaic system established by Yeheng Energy that is currently under operation has produced more than 200MW of solar power, and the company is striving to achieve the target of 800MW.
