Global CIS thin-film solar solution provider, Solar Frontier, announced its business milestone of delivering more than 4GW of solar modules approximately 60 countries around the world.
Solar Frontier’s “Made in Japan” brand name have been winning trusts and orders from existing and new, domestic and overseas customers. Approximately 1GW of global module shipments were booked and delivered to new countries including Norway, Somalia and Mongolia over the past one year.
“This accomplishment is the result of Solar Frontier’s CIS thin-film solar panels boasting the advantages of delivering outstanding power generation capabilities and economical and environmental advantages in real-working conditions – even in high temperatures or in partial shading,” stated Solar Frontier.
Solar Frontier currently operating a 900MW production capacity Kunitomi plant and a new Miyagi plant, which started operating this year. The Kunitomi plant has started producing solar panels with an output of 175W as a main product this month.
