Jifan Gao, Chairman and CEO of Trina Solar, has become a founding member of the Newly launched Private Sector Advisory Board (the "Advisory Board") for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Beijing, China.
"I am extremely honored to be a founding member of the Advisory Board," said Gao. "The launch of the Advisory Board will further support the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as we believe the private sector plays an indispensable role in sustainable development.”
The major aim of the Advisory Board is to bring together some of China’s most influential big names to collaborate, discuss and mobilize resources to assist and promote the SDGs.
