To boost its recognition in the U.S. solar market, Wuxi Suntech announced to showcase three major PV module technologies at the Solar Power International 2015 trade show in California. Upgraded SuperPoly modules which have a 100MW manufacturing capacity now, high efficiency PERC HyPro modules, and the next generation 1,500V high system voltage modules will be on display at SPI show.

The new 1,500V high system voltage module, engineered for both utility-scale and commercial applications, achieves 3-4% reduction in balance of system costs compared to 1,000V modules. The new modules reduce the amount of required components and are lighter weight than traditional double glass modules. The SuperPoly, a polycrystalline module that integrates an in-depth reflection technology and passivation process, enables the module to generate at least 2 power classes (approximately 10W) higher than the average industry-level module, reaching efficiency levels up to 16.6%. The SuperPoly 72 cell module is ideal for utility scale projects, producing 325W at peak performance.
Following the upgrade of Suntech's entire solar panel production line, all the modules to be showcased at SPI are four-busbar modules. Each one is PID (potential induced degradation) free with strong performance in low light conditions, and Suntech's IP68-rated junction box reduces the possibility of water or dirt ingress. Additionally the modules are backed by Suntech's 25-year linear power warranty and 10 year product-warranty, and excellent customer service. Suntech's product lines will be on display at Solar Power International in Anaheim, California from September 14-17, 2015 at booth number 4736.
