On August 5th, Huanghe Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. and Huawei collaborated to establish a “Smart PV Innovation Center”. The innovation center put together digital information technology, internet technology, and PV technology to overcome Huanghe Hydropower’s problems as follow – large PV power plant area, harsh natural environment and living condition, and few maintenance personnel.

By the end of June, Huanghe Hydropower has built 23 PV plants, with the total capacity reaching 1.85GW. Thus, it has become the largest PV company in China.
