ReneSola has signed a PV module supply agreement with an international EPC company in Germany, Europe. ReneSola will provide 20MW of PV modules to Germany for several utility-scale PV projects in the nation.
Under the terms of the agreement, ReneSola's contracted OEMs will deliver 20MW of the company's high-efficiency Virtus II solar modules for the projects between July and August of this year.
"We are delighted to provide our high-quality modules for these projects in Germany, a developed market that has long been a leading source of demand and a destination for renewable energy alternatives," said Mr. Xianshou Li, ReneSola's chief executive officer.
ReneSola has been withdrawn from the EU-China Minimum Import Price (MIP) agreement because of violation to the deal. Yet ReneSola will supply PV modules manufactured in countries other than China, such as India, according to Angus Kao, an analyst at EnergyTrend.
