SunPower signed an agreement with Spark Energy, a retail energy provider, to offer solar technology to the partner’s new and existing customer in California and New York. After an initial pilot in those regions, the two companies may expand the offering to other areas of the U.S. as well.

This co-marketing arrangement continues a focus on green and renewable energy solutions for Spark Energy. Within the past year, the Houston-based retail energy provider has also introduced a carbon-neutral natural gas product and expanded its 100 percent renewable electricity offerings.
