2014-07-21 14:58

At Techno-Frontier 2014 in Japan, Delta Electronics will showcase a broad spectrum of highly integrated green solutions that deliver energy efficiency and reliability. Solutions for electric vehicles (EVs), renewable energy, networking, industrial automation and datacenter infrastructure will all be the must-see features.

Committing to helping Japan mitigate its severe energy needs, Delta will achieve this through a portfolio of innovative solutions include industrial automation, data center infrastructure, networking, EVs charging and renewable energy. Among these, Delta’s EV Quick Charger DCJ Series, the first of its kind to qualify for the subsidy program of the Next Generation Vehicle Promotion Center in Japan, is one of the top choices for powering EVs thanks to its versatile CHAdeMO/ SAE Combo (certified) dual system and anti-corrosion qualities that are essential in Japan’s coastal humidity. In addition, Delta PV inverters offer the highest energy conversion efficiency of >96.5% based on Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) with advanced features that meet Japanese requirements of grid connection such as control of reactive power and anti-corrosion / compact-size properties, ideal for the humid weather and limited installation space in Japan.

Inspired by its corporate mission “To provide innovative, clean and energy-efficient solutions for a better tomorrow”, Delta will exhibit the following state-of-the-art solutions at Techno-Frontier 2014:

EV Charging Solutions: Delta will exhibit 12 DC-power EV Quick Chargers including the DCJ Series which boasts a CHAdeMO/ SAE Combo (certified) dual system and durable protection against adverse winter and coastal humidity. The DCJ Series is the first EV charger to qualify for the subsidy program offered to operators by the Next Generation Vehicle Promotion Center in Japan.

Renewable Energy Solutions: Delta will present PV inverters that offer the highest energy conversion efficiency of >96.5% in the Japanese market (JIS standards). The PV inverters offer advanced features to meet the requirements of grid connection in Japan such as reactive power control and an anti-corrosion, lightweight, compact structure, ideal for local conditions such as humid weather and limited installation space.

Networking Solutions: The showcase will include state-of-the-art networking equipment such as 4G LTE outdoor CPEs and 4G LTE micro base stations that empower high-speed ultra-broadband internet traffic for optimum user experience while providing cost efficiency for operators. In addition, Delta is exhibiting its “Smart Metering Communication Platform” for Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) applications. With the AMI deployment, utility companies obtain electricity demand information more quickly, which enables them to respond and distribute power more efficiently.

Industrial Automation Solutions for 3 major applications: Motion control for machinery; building automation for heat, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; and process automation for water treatment facilities. To realize optimal reliability and efficiency for high-end industrial machine applications, Delta’s latest PAC motion control systems integrate advanced mid-range AH-500 Series PLCs, highly versatile HMIs and the unique precision of our ASDA-A2 Series AC servo drives.

Datacenter Infrastructure Solutions: Delta’s InfraSuite enables customers to realize the operation of “green” data centers by achieving up to 25% energy savings through a comprehensive platform that includes high-efficiency Power Management, Precision Cooling and an Environment Management System. The system also includes Rack & Accessories for constructing highly reliable and opex-efficient data centers through scalability, modularity, standardization and ease-of-maintenance features.
