China’s first PV experience center opened in Baoding, Hebei on March 15th, the International Day for Protecting Consumers’ Rights. Yingli Solar is responsible for the center’s design and operation. The center is focusing on both selling eco-friendly PV products and popularizing PV knowledge.
Covering an area of around 300 m^2, the experience center is consisted by 2 floors and is divided into five zones: knowledge popularizing, product displaying, commercial negotiations, e-commerce and customers’ experience. Besides, products on display include a wide range like PV chargers, PV toys and PV bags. PV cells for distributed generation systems, PV distribution boxes, PV inverters are also showcased.
“We plan to prompt the experience center to the entire nation and wish to build more than 100 centers by this year,” said Miao Jia (苗佳), General manager at Yingli’s distributed generation system branch, which is also the operator of the experience center.
