2012-03-28 14:55

MAGE SOLAR, part of the globally operating MAGE GROUP, announced today that it has added a new warehouse and distribution center in Phoenix, Arizona.

Effective immediately, the company’s signature MAGE POWERTEC PLUS high-efficiency modules as well as other premium-performance PV-system components will now ship in 50% less lead time to West Coast customers. The quicker and more convenient access to the impressive product portfolio is supported by MAGE SOLAR’s West Coast sales team.

“We are expanding rapidly not only across the entire western U.S. but also to the Central American market and beyond,” says Joe Thomas, President and CEO of MAGE SOLAR USA. “Our Arizona logistics center will ensure that even as we continue to grow, we will provide extraordinary customer service and a close proximity to the needs of our business partners.”

True to MAGE SOLAR’s sustainability mission, the Phoenix warehouse is a LEED-Silver Certified facility with a 282 kW photovoltaic rooftop array and eco-friendly logistic practices.

The new distribution center is the third addition in a row of logistics expansions this year. Back in January, MAGE SOLAR opened a warehouse in Dagenham, England, and just a few weeks ago the company announced the establishment of its logistics center in Melbourne, Australia.
