Trina Solar Limited (TSL) ("Trina Solar" or the "Company"), a integrated manufacturer of solar photovoltaic (PV) products from the production of ingots, wafers and cells to the assembly of PV modules, announced that as of October 2011 it has received the ISO 14064-1:2006 verification statement from British Standards Institution (BSI).
The ISO 14064 verification reflects the significant efforts the Company has made to establish a systematic methodology to quantify and report GHG-related information in accordance with ISO's rigorous international requirements and principles of transparency, relevance, completeness, consistency and accuracy. This ISO verification provides a solid foundation and framework for Trina Solar to quantify, monitor and report GHG emissions.

BSI, the global standards developer and leading provider of greenhouse gas verifications, performed a stringent audit to ensure Trina Solar's conformance to the ISO 14064 1:2006 requirements. BSI chairs the ISO 14064 working team and has developed similar standards including, PAS 2050, a product carbon footprint standards, and PAS 2060, a carbon neutrality standards.
