New Reward Policy On Solar and Wind Power Generation in Japan

According to the new reward policy newly issued by Japanese government, the subsidy applications of the new energy companies will be accepted from Feb. 12th to Mar. 15th, 2011.

Officials say, the new energy companies, including solar power generation, wind power generation, solar heat utilization, biomass generation, biomass heat utilization, biomass fuels fabrication, hydroelectric generation, geothermal power generation, fuel cell, microgrids, etc., will be rewarded with 1 billion Japanese yen maximum.

Besides, the local governments also hope that the local public groups, nonprofit groups and other organizations join in this new energy policy, and they will be rewarded with subsidy for 1/2 operating expenses.

The local governments in Hokkaido, northeast district, kanto district, Kansai district, Kyrshu, Okinawa also have the relevant subsidy schemes, expecting achieving the objective in 2011, with the purpose of developing the Japanese new energy industry.
