Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited (NYSE: YGE) ("Yingli Green Energy" or the "Company"), a solar energy company and one of the world's largest vertically integrated photovoltaic manufacturers, which holds the brand "Yingli Solar," announced that its U.S. subsidiary, Yingli Green Energy Americas, Inc. ("Yingli Green Energy Americas"), has been selected to provide 15 megawatts of solar modules for 16 solar power systems at multiple Kaiser Permanente hospitals and office facilities across California.

Nearly 65,000 Yingli Solar multicrystalline modules are being delivered between now and mid-year 2011. The modules were chosen by the project's designer and installer, Swinerton Renewable Energy, a San Francisco-based green building leader, as well as the plant's owner and operator, Recurrent Energy, a San Francisco-based independent power producer. The projects will generate approximately 180 union and green jobs in California.

"We chose to work with Yingli Green Energy Americas not only for their proven product, but also for their stellar customer service and flexibility," said George Hershman, Vice President of Swinerton Renewable Energy. "High quality, reliable modules are a pre-requisite for our solar projects, which is why we look forward to continuing to partner with Yingli Green Energy Americas in the future."

"With several installations already operating and some underway, we can attest to Yingli Green Energy Americas' ability to deliver and to work within tight development parameters," said Arno Harris, Chief Executive Officer, Recurrent Energy. "We're pleased to work with them on a project of this magnitude, which when aggregated, truly highlights the advantages of distributed-scale solar power."

"We are expanding our business across all major solar markets and have become one of the leading module suppliers in the United States," said Mr. Liansheng Miao, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Yingli Green Energy. "As today's announcement demonstrates, we continue to be selected for some of the nation's most visible and exciting solar projects."

Robert Petrina, Managing Director of Yingli Green Energy Americas, added, "We strive to provide outstanding technical and commercial support, and we are pleased to have those advantages recognized by solar industry leaders such as Swinerton and Recurrent Energy. When completed, the Kaiser Permanente projects will serve as an exemplary model for other health care organizations and institutions to follow."
