Solar & Wind Projects Jordan is a specialized conference addressing the Implementation of strategies to finance, construct and operate solar and wind projects in Jordan.
Jordan is currently importing 96% of its energy needs annually. Therefore, it was announced in July 2015 that the Jordanian government has signed 13 agreements to build wind and solar energy plants with a total capacity of 317 megawatts. The projects are in line with Jordan's national energy strategy, which aims to increase reliance on renewable power sources.
Solar & Wind Projects Jordan 2016 will gather Jordan’s leading government representatives, investors, developers, consultants, EPC contractors, financiers, legal firms and technology providers to discuss future plans, regulatory updates, procurement models and construction strategies to deliver solar and wind projects leading up to 2020.
