How many types of EnergyTrend memberships are there?

Anyone who registers for an account on EnergyTrend, TrendForce’s green energy division, can become an EnergyTrend member. Currently, we have a general membership and a silver membership.

 

How do I become an EnergyTrend general member?

We do not charge a fee for our standard membership. Simply complete the registration process on the EnergyTrend website to become a standard member. Standard members enjoy the following services:
- View complete articles on topics including industry research and analysis, special reports, price trend reports, industry interviews, green energy information, expos and conferences, etc.
- Receive the EnergyTrend e-newsletter for members (available in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and English), which provides the most up-to-date information on the green energy industry
– important news, analysis and commentary, expos and conferences, product supply and demand, etc.

 

How do I become an EnergyTrend premium member?

Please go to EnergyTrend’s Reports page at //www.energytrend.com/miservice for more information about our premium membership.

Are there are account name or password restrictions?

Spaces are allowed; punctuation is not allowed except for periods, hyphens, and underscores.

 

What do I do if I forget my account name or password?

On the EnergyTrend website, click on “Login”, then “Request new password”.
Step 1: Enter the email address used during registration.
Step 2: Check your email for instructions on resetting your password.
Note: Please make sure to remember the email used to register with EnergyTrend. Without an email address, we are unable to assist you in retrieving your account name and password. If you have forgotten the email used to register, you must register for a new account.

 

How do I look up or change my registered member information?

Log in to your account, click “My account” then “Edit”. In the “Account” section you can change your email address and password. In the “Personal information” section you can edit your name, cell phone and fax number, country and region. Under “Company information” you can change company details. In “E-newsletter” you can choose which version of the newsletter you would like to receive (Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, or English) – click on the “Save” button after you are finished editing your account information.

 

How do I subscribe to the weekly e-newsletter?

EnergyTrend’s e-newsletter, which provides information on PV spot price, weekly news highlights, and hot topics from our forum, is available to all registered members free of charge. You will be automatically subscribed upon successful membership registration. After logging in to your account, click “My account” à “Edit” à “e-newsletter” to change your subscription preferences, and click “Save” when you are finished.

 

I have already registered. Why am I still unable to log in?

The following issues may be the cause: 1. During registration, problems with Internet connectivity or system errors may have resulted in incomplete registration. 2. Your browser may have cookies disabled. Please make sure cookies are enabled. 3. The account name or password you entered may be different from the ones you registered with. If you have forgotten your account name or password, click on “Request new password” to reset. 4. Providing inaccurate information or violating EnergyTrend’s terms of use may have resulted in the suspension of your account. Please contact customer service via email, phone, or QQ for further assistance.

How do I submit an article on the EnergyTrend website?

Industry individuals may submit articles to be published on the EnergyTrend website, completely free of charge. Press releases and photographs may be submitted, in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, or English. If you have up-to-date industry news to share, head to //www.energytrend.com/announcements.

EnergyTrend reserves the right to decide which articles to publish, and may edit content. Please contact us for details.
